Marana and Archer settled down at one of the bonfires. Archer held the brown-eyed elf girl by his hand and said something serious, looking into her eyes. Tears welled up in Marana's eyes and a happy smile stretched. Love confession, surely. Siala smiled and decided not to interfere with them this evening. After looking around, she realized that neither songs nor alcohol were interesting ti her. The girl decided to go again to the training field, taking with her a dummy.
Inserting the dummy in the ground, she moved a long distance. Will it work out? She closed her eyes, felt the flame inside, again she felt a blue fire and raised her hand.
"It's better not to close your eyes in battle," a familiar voice said softly behind her.
The girl opened her eyes and turned. Nearby stood Daaron leaning on a tree. He burned the elf with his black eyes. A familiar glance seemed even fair to Siala.
"I just like to feel the energy inside," the girl answered.
"Why you aren’t at the party?"
"For some reason I don’t like it there. I don’t want to sing or dance. And even I don’t want to say goodbye to anyone, my friends won’t die."
"Are you so sure of that?"
"Don’t drive me into doubts!" The elf responded sharply. "I've had enough of my losses."
Daaron paused and looked away. The girl came closer:
"And why are you always alone?"
"It will be better this way."
"For you? Or for others?"
"I think both of them," the mage grinned.
"Well, you don’t have to decide for others. It was interesting to talk with you. In one lesson, you taught me everything I can do right now. And I never thanked you."
