EARNINGS: LEVERAGING ON SKILLS AND TALENTS UNTO UNLIMITED GAINS
The world we are is full of unlimited possibilities even though only few are leveraging on this. Every human being has something to offer and has talents, natural abilities which can be leveraged on for maximum productivity and richness. However, some things occur which can limit each person productivity unto profiting and earnings. For some, their background/exposure limits them while for another, past failure, discouragement, lack of zeal or even negative influences around them hinders them. It is good to know that each person's productivity in life will come from either the natural abilities/talents or the acquired skills.
Skills and talents are good platforms for wealth creation and prosperity if combined with right mindset and understanding. Personally, i believe it will be difficult to peg an amount to how much a person can earn nor for a rich person to get richer because human productivity differs from one form to another. Those who are rich through legitimate means if well checked will show a consistent pattern of dilligence, rich perspective and maximizing the skills, talents, abilities they have either in products or service delivery meeting a particular need or solving a particular human challenge. I believe true riches is not by coincidence or inexplicable, but by certain principles of life well maximized.
Therefore, maximum earnings is at the mercy of each person's ability and capacity to leverage on his or her own abilities, endowment, skills, talents combined with dilligence and right perspective to life and living. Legitimate earnings can come from different sources based on ability to create a solution or meet the needs of humanity through one's innovative product or quality service delivery. It is true that some are rich through crooked means either by corruption, stealing, fraud and all sorts, but those are not true riches. Any and everybody can be rich and earn to the maximum of their ability and capacity even though riches or wealth is relative.
I am of the opinion that instead of capping how much a person can earn which can be restrictive or limiting, what is needed is fair/equitable policies favourable to all without partiality or bias. The current system is a faulty one that empowers certain individuals and unfavorable to others which is not good enough. Therefore, more is needed to be done by the leaders to have a fair society with biases apart. In addition, each individual must work on his or her understanding of riches, prosperity and wealth because it starts from the heart not with resources first. Right understanding brings balance and helps in productivity unto maximum earnings.
Therefore, setting a limit to maximum earnings is not a good or feasible idea considering the insatiable nature of humans. However, there is need for a level playing ground without prejudice or bias and in addition, everyone should leverage on the skills, abilities, talents he or she has unto maximum productivity and earnings. The rich are not the problem nor the poor, the major factors of policies, governance, believe system, right understanding and others even though relative are what needed to be dealt with as any and everyone can be rich.
