Yesterday was a very unhappy day for me, and let me tell you why. I carried out hatching production for my hybrid catfish. I was really looking forward to this particular production because I was reusing my old female Clarias broodstock for the first time.

Everything seemed fine with the injection and spawning, then came the waiting period (24 hours). Early yesterday morning, I woke up to check my hatching rate, and behold, it was very low. I felt very unhappy, and every attempt to cheer myself up seemed like a failure, too. Then, that night too, two of the female broodstocks used died, and that was my turning point, as it seemed I was riding the bicycle of doom, with failure leading to more bad things.

My friend came by this night and motivated me by sharing some practical, real-life examples from his own experience. I felt encouraged, and I'm treating this as a learning experience. Currently knocked down but not knocked out, and I will definitely override this phase too.
