One Saturday, his first son asked him some questions about lying. His first son explained to his father that he was in a difficult situation where he had to lie to save his classmate and that, although he felt bad, it was for a good cause.
His father decided to explain what lying does. His father shared a story about a man who would always lie that a Lion was about to attack just to make fun of the people in the village, and everyone would run and prepare for battle and safety, only to find out that it was all a lie. Eventually, when a real Lion actually showed up, nobody believed him as he was a liar, and he was consumed by the Lion. His father stated the moral lesson for this story was that action has consequences and lying is bad.

We have the "good lie" - this is when a lie is said for a good cause, the "white lie" - a little bit similar to a good lie, but this has little or no damage when found out, and "the bad lie"- this is lying for selfish reasons, and the aftermath is always bad when found out.
