Andrew is a very bright and brilliant student from a humble beginning. He was the firstborn of his parents and well-trained. He would often put in his very best effort in everything assigned to him, and this went without notice. By the time he got to senior secondary school, some of his teachers took notice of him too. Eventually, he was nominated to become the school prefect.

Andrew was very surprised when his name was called out at a Monday morning assembly. He had to summon the courage to be able to stand in front of the other students. He was expected to resume next week, so he had the current week to get his affairs in order. So Andrew went about asking other students and the previous assembly prefect what techniques and/or ideas they could share with him, so he would be able to lead the assembly, as he was stage fright and full of anxiety. They all shared one or two techniques with him, and he was grateful.

It was D-Day, and as usual, Andrew was always punctual and was preparing to lead the assembly. When it was time, he was unable to lead as he was very scared and almost had a panic attack. His partner had to step in to help lead, and that was a narrow escape for him. He had to prepare for the next day, as he knew he would not be able to escape every time, so he went to lead, but this time his voice failed him as he was not audible enough.

He was able to resolve the issue regarding his voice by being louder. Each new day he led, he would always have one issue or another, such as forgetting what to say or sing, and the next time he would try to overcome it. The truth was that some issues took longer to solve than others, but in the end of it all, he was able to overcome them by not giving up (facing his fear).

Eventually, Andrew was able to lead the assembly to the best of his ability and that was the beginning of his journey toward curing his stage fright and anxiety because little did he know that he would face more crowds in his future (both physically and Virtually).
