Weekend at Sarmiento Park [EN/ES] Fin de semana al Parque Sarmiento
As I told you on Saturday I was going through some very strange days where with a little delay I went through the experience of how everyone felt when we were locked up by the covid. I didn't have to do it at that time because of the job I had I was able to continue working and in fact I worked much more than most people because it was essential for food, so as people were doing nothing, I don't know if you remember, but people consumed much more food so they didn't suffer the confinement, nor the bad moods, nor the feeling of discomfort or depression or anything of what they suffered. The thing is that after having gone through that place, on Saturday I was finally able to reset myself and yesterday we went with the kids to the park to spend the afternoon and it was amazing.
The park we went to is the well known Saavedra park, but as far as I know it is not the real name. What I can tell you is that it is a unique park because it is next to the General Paz, also the park is bordered by a very exclusive small neighborhood of low houses. It is a mini neighborhood that is located around the park with all diagonals is shaped like a crescent because it is all in pursuit of covering the park. The truth is that this neighborhood is really very beautiful and very quiet. The houses that you can find there are very varied and of all kinds. There are very pompous and beautiful houses and more humble and quiet houses.
In the morning as we chose to go we decided to make a brownie to take something sweet for a snack and then we bought something salty in a delicious bakery. We made the brownie vegan to try to make it a little lighter for Bruni who has a bad tummy and with pure cocoa so it turned out great. In fact better than what we usually get. We overdid it a bit with so much food haha but since we hadn't eaten lunch we ate a lot, the kids brought squeezed orange juice and a bottle of water and I took some to drink mate. There were a lot of people in the park and I think that was not only because the weather was nice but also because it was not too hot.
When we arrived we had only seen a few games and the kids were not very enthusiastic about them but after a while of snacking and feeling comfortable they wanted to play for a while so they asked me if we could go see those games and we headed there. I told them to go to another side of the park to walk around a bit and we found other games that were really good and they got really hooked on playing. They played a lot and I ended up playing with them. After playing for a long time, I asked the kids if they would join me for a walk around the park and the truth is that we were surprised by the amount of places there are. We found 4 playgrounds in the same park. The kids were like crazy, they wanted to climb on everything.
I hope you liked my post.
