Holy Friday. April 7, 2023.
Here in our country today is "semana santa" or holy week. Usually on this day, Good Friday as it is called, the cenacle and penance are performed.
When I was young, my mother always invited us or took us to watch it in our town, even if we were soaked in the heat and splashed with blood, it was okay because we enjoyed watching it and we also got to meet a lot of people.
But now that I'm not young anymore, I don't like watching such things (penance). I prefer to stay at home.
That's why as you can see in the images I'm just here at our house today.
Those pictures were taken outside our house. Yes, we live by the riverside. And the view here is stunning for us every day. From sunrise to sunset. So it's nice to hang out outside our house because besides the wind, the view is also beautiful.
The first picture is the view of the sunset with matching leaves from the tree near me, where I am sheltering.
The second picture is the back of my dog, the river and the sun. My Fur baby's name is Bootchie. It was funny because he accompanied me to watch the sunset. You can see that he is really focused on watching the sun and watching the water in the river.
And the third picture is the place where I hang out/sit. I took shelter in that tree while I could also see another house on the other side of the river.
Actually we were supposed to have a trip set today and we were going to go to the beach but that didn't work out due to some reasons. But it's fine because even though we were at home, we still enjoyed this day and never forget what the purpose of holy week.
