Enter the university is something special in our lives, leaves marks and is a new stage to which we have to face, I enter my university for the first time at the young age of 15 years to do the university introductory course and then approve it, In the introductory course everyone was surprised by my age, many mocked and others did not believe it, they will see, I measure 1.85 meters, at that time it was 1.82 meters and looked older, at least about 17 years old although others believed it had 20 Although my face did not help much to pretend to be greater hahaha.

While I was doing the course, I still had not finished my baccalaureate, I was in the last stage, I graduated and I attended the university as soon as the next academic term began. Many colleagues came with me to my university, which was very helpful and even the sun today I have them for anything.

The first day is a great experience, you never forget it, you meet many people and the teachers welcome you and make you attend each class (at least in my university), it is a short and simple presentation, just talk a Little of who you are and why? to be there.

In the first week maybe you do not adapt to the schedules but it is a matter of time, apart you know all the teachers and it's only a matter of time to get to know you. When you meet many people, parties come, meetings come, alcohol and dancing come (only if you like to drink and dance of course) and you begin to get familiar, there is something that you should be very aware of and it is your new friend circle. The university is a reflection of the current society, if there are thieves, alcoholics, toxic people, psychopaths, junkies, among many other sub-classes of people, at the university they will also be present and you should know very well with whom to join you, your social circle It is very important, this saying always remember it:

"Tell me who you're with and I'll tell you who you are"

This saying is of vital importance that you interpret it well, it is good to be friends with as many people as possible, yes, it is not bad at all but you must be careful who you choose as a friend. They can change your way of thinking, take you to do things you do not want, of course all this depends on you, what I want to say is that if we spend time with people who do not bring us anything positive or lead us to do bad things, we are attracted to fall into vices, it is best to get away. This is a piece of advice if you want to have a better future but this depends on you, I had to cut ties with many people because they simply did not bring anything positive and they were going through bad things, which I do not want to do.

As for time, forget about that hahaha ... normally you will be very busy attending your studies, many times I only went out with my friends once a month because if I was not in college I was at home studying and if I was not In my house I was in the gym and like that. Always try to occupy your time very well, do not lose it, manage it!

I advise you to store your ideas in notes, I use the application a lot "Keep Google", you can find it in the play store or you can use it on your pc. I advise this because it is proven that our brain is not made to keep all our ideas in order and you usually forget them easily.

It is good to go out to parties and enjoy a lot but keep in mind that there is a barrier we must respect, a balance between leisure and your progress as a person, if you break this balance you will be in trouble, if you only live making leisure you will be a failure in everything others and if you only spend it studying, because of that you sleep a little and have few social interactions your health and performance will be by the way, doing more is not better, be smart, use study schedules, program your workouts if you practice some sport , be a person Monday and not a Friday, this is something that I explained in other posts, I leave it here, it is good that you read it, it is a good reflection and it will be helpful.

ARE YOU A PERSON MONDAY OR A PERSON FRIDAY?

I am currently going through the fifth academic term and I estimate that I need more or less year and a half to graduate as an environmental engineer. I hope you take my advice those who have not yet started the university or the initiates in it. Everything has its time, do things that impel them to be the best version of yourselves every day and they will be successful in everything they propose, live in the present, enjoy the challenges, see the good face to everything and always with a smile, do not be pessimistic and remember, first you are ...
