One camera,
one palm tree,
so many textures!
One of those time when there is not many things to shoot (or you shot everything... multiple times) and out of boredom you get closer to a palm tree. So common to see it around here and boring from a distance.
But just look closer... The bark, the dry and fresh leaves, some fibers. And shoot! Shoot like there is no tomorrow :)
Every time I see those textured shots I am amazed how simple and common the object is. Something around us, something we see every day. But in a macro lens it turns to something completely new.
And I try to remember to shoot more of those when I go out. But then I see the flashy flowers and my brains forgets it all.
Of course not everything is dull and dry. But somehow the sticking out fibers and shreded leaves seemed more interesting.
The green ones create such nice lines though!
