Best part in growing up in a countryside is having a garden. And even though there is always (except winter) work there, it all pays off when you see the fruits, veggies and flower getting bigger.
We always had all kinds of berries growing around. Red currants gotta be the most photogenic of all the currants (we also have black and white ones). Delicious, little, sour fruits.
A little further one of the beans is almost ready to be picked up. Those have this beautiful dark purple colour when they grow, but when cooked they turn green like any other bean.
And last but not least and must have in a garden - tomatoes!
Nothing compares to a home grown tomato that is allowed to ripen in a sun. So fragrant and sweet!
Here is one flower for you on a tomato bush :)
All photos come from my mum's garden.
I found another purpose for all the plants there - they are my models whenever I visit :)
