Further, the journey through the Vologda region continued along the Vaga River upstream, that is, back to the South. On the way I came across many interesting and beautiful villages, but most of all I remember two.
The first village of Kostyuninskaya was distinguished by the dilapidated wooden chapel located in it. It was built at the end of the 19th century.
The chapel stands right next to the road among the rest of the houses in the village.
The dome has collapsed a long time ago and looks very strange.
Soon the chapel itself will be lost.
The houses in the village are also not all residential - some of them are simply mothballed.
The road further goes near the bank of the Vaga river. The beauty in some places is amazing and distracts the driver from safe driving.
The coast is steep here, but not very high.
Sometimes you come to the water by trodden paths.
Further on the way, the village of Smetanino, or rather the Church of the Resurrection of Christ, opened up.
What kind of flowers do you want: white or blue?
Well, a picture with a person - not just show postcards!
Well, a piece of advice before the next post: do not trust the country roads on the navigator if you want to arrive on time or even get somewhere!
