In this post I would like to present three different thematic series.
The first selection is street spotty photos taken on a smartphone during the children's holiday "Festival of Colors".
Due to the properties of the smartphone optics, the depth of field is always maximum, which is good for a spotty street.
But the quality of the telephoto lens is not enough: with a strong approximation, the picture loses in detail.
Therefore, a spotty street on a smartphone will not always work.
I often say that mobile photography is more like a training photo for me and is not taken seriously.
You can work out a composition or some elements, but it will not work for a serious project.
It remains to wait until the quality of the long focus in smartphones is finished.
It turns out that all the time I was shooting a spotted street due to the physical properties of optics.
And it will be more honest and natural to use focal lengths from 35 mm to 70 mm.
After all, the human eye is not able to zoom in as much as 400 mm.
Although the eye is partly able to focus tunnel-wise and highlight something important in the distance.
So we approve the TV show.
The next trial series of graphic plots, shot from the train window, is devoted to the topic of electric train wires.
I was attracted by the shapes and lines of electrical wires.
The unusual thing is that they have interesting curves in the shape of letters.
The wires are different from the usual street lights.
I've been hatching an idea for a long time how to capture the graphics of the wires.
But I still can't implement it, because I know that there are countries where wires look like cobwebs.
There is no such thing in our country...
Therefore, knowing that there is something better, mediocrity is not a hunt to remove.
And that's why this series is made on a smartphone.
Next, I drew attention to the reflections in the construction fence.
The metal fence has a glossy surface that reflects various lights.
Mostly I was attracted by the reflections of car headlights.
Store signs were also reflected.
This is also a trial series.
Thanks to the smartphone, I was able to see what it would look like in the series.
We need more variety in the plots.
But in general, this is the material that I am ready to shoot on a professional camera.
Whereas the previous two are not ready.
This series also has a social meaning.
Many people in different cities often see such fences in front of them, and some live with this view for years.
Construction is an integral part of our life.
