Indian summer in Vologda was warm but short this year. The sunny and even hot weather was quickly replaced by severe cold weather, sometimes even frosts. Indian summer didn't even last two weeks...

I love Indian summer in the middle of autumn, or rather in the middle of October.

Warm and sunny weather is best combined with golden autumn.

And the beginning of September does not spoil you with yellow foliage at all.

There are times in my life when I take stock, make statistics, and remember the path I've traveled.

And it doesn't always happen at the end of the year.

This fall, I would like to recall all the bright states over the past five years.

Each autumn was distinguished by its own unique set of sensations, which I can plunge into by reviewing the archive.

I want to visit each of these worlds and maybe even try to capture something in such states.

It will be a street urban life.

Night yards also have their own scent of time, but I'm not interested in them yet.

But the dugouts, which began brightly and actively in the fall of 2023, are still working as they should. But it became difficult...

In one of my previous posts, I mentioned a new condition, a new creative wave that I have recently identified – stockness.

On the stock-photobank wave, you don't just want to make aesthetic pictures.

There is also a street on this wave, which is mostly reportage.

And there is also a sense of the importance of each image, as this wave works with the future significance of the entire archive in mind.

On this wave, I discard less, delete less bad or boring frames.

Maybe I won't show them to anyone, but they will remain lying there until they are in demand.

This wave is somewhat reminiscent of the desire to capture dilapidated houses and abandoned villages.

That's how I've been feeling for the last week...

But stock photography, like all other genres, should be made qualitatively, beautifully, aesthetically and according to all the canons of artistic photography.
