I have lived in Veliky Ustyug for more than 30 years since my birth and I felt this city. It happens that when traveling to unfamiliar places beautiful photos are obtained, but if you visit a place more than once, feel it, then you can make perfect masterpieces. This is in terms of architectural and landscape photography. If we talk about the reportage, then it is a matter of chance and it is decisive.
Still, the Veliky Ustyug is located much north of Vologda and the frosts are stronger there. Fortunately, the rivers freeze here and there. It will be interesting, having weaned a little from your hometown, to see it slightly again. In any case, I will no longer be able to think in this city as before and also take pictures. My consciousness is changed and perception will not be the same.
This city is fully disclosed to me. I haven鈥檛 done such colorful landscapes for a long time, since while still living in Veliky Ustyug, I have already reached my peak. This, by the way, is one of the reasons why I thought about moving.
It is impossible for ten years to constantly give out masterpieces! Sooner or later, you will begin to repeat yourself. I held on for a very long time.
It is not necessary for every photographer to move from city to city at certain intervals, so that there is something to shoot. It just coincided. Many factors influenced the move and photography is not in the first place. Although...on the first! After all, I work as a photographer in the media.
Beautiful pictures from Veliky Ustyug will now be a rarity...
But from other places there will be only more!
