It's all we got
.......................................................................................................................................................................
just now
made a post..
Unboxing the Many Aspects and Definitions of Creativity
It's worth a read...I urge you to do so
...........my response.................
Tools.
Leeme 'splain.
When I was truckin I was a DRIVER...not a mechanic.
I made my living DRIVING a truck...not working on the damn thing.
In a sense you could equate driving to being creative because every damn minute behind the wheel might present the driver with a whole new ball game
, for example
Did she REALLY turn on her left turn signal then turn RIGHT..
.right in front of me?
Not running over the bloody fool and squashing her to paste is going to take some very
CREATIVE driving.....
every damn day...
Same thing with writing..
.I'm a WRITER...
not a geek.
I'm a USER
(of the program and computer)
I don't want to work on the damn things...
What I'm trying to get at
...is many times the tools we use to create.
..get in the WAY of actually being creative.
A tool should be intuitive to use.
..second nature.
The (artist, author, painter, driver, pilot, skydiver, etc)
should not have to THINK about what to do...
just DO it.
The damn tools should NOT get in the way
of CREATIVITY.
Did that make the least bit of sense?
maybe not...
Language
(and writing)
is also a tool
...some of us use it more intuitively than others...
..............in other news..............
Estimates on the time frame vary...
but soon...probably sooner than later...
the ONLY job left for humans will be those which are
CREATIVE
robots and automation will be doing EVERYTHING else.
but WAIT..there's more..
after a person is CREATIVE..and has done something new.
it CAN be automated...
(and likely will be)
then it's up to the human to be CREATIVE..
and find something ELSE..
that's new.
wash, rinse, repeat.
