Nos vamos al Hivefest! [ESP/ENG]

Sí, así es! nos vamos al Hivefest y ni yo me lo puedo creer todavía! y es que recuerdo que cuando fuimos al bowling a la reunión rápida de Hive, las chicas me preguntaron si íbamos al Hivefest y yo respondí que no porque realmente no teníamos esos planes (por cuestiones de dinero), pero mas tarde mi esposo me dijo que todavía teníamos unas vacaciones pendientes pues se suponía que para mí cumpleaños (en mayo) iríamos a Italia pero como no obtuve mi tarjeta de residencia a tiempo, perdimos esos boletos, pero creo que todo pasa por alguna razón y sin duda esta razón me ha encantado.

Yes, that's right! we are going to Hivefest and even I can't believe it yet! I remember when we went to the bowling alley for the quick Hive meeting, the girls asked me if we were going to Hivefest and I said no because we didn't really have those plans (because of money issues), but later my husband told me that we still had a pending vacation because for my birthday (in May) we were supposed to go to Italy but since I didn't get my green card on time, we lost those tickets, but I think everything happens for a reason and without a doubt this reason has enchanted me.

Ahora bien, mientras mi esposo veía el precio de algunos vuelos, yo le dije: y por qué no vamos a Split al Hivefest? Solo lo solté así, sin ninguna esperanza pero para mí sorpresa él encontró unos vuelos a muy buen precio y no dudamos en comprarlos. Ahora mi trabajo era reunir el dinero para pagar las entradas, empecé a hacer power down por eso, aunque le dije a mi esposo que probablemente no lo lograría (no lo logré de hecho) pero que tal vez allá podíamos salir un día con los chicos que también van al Hivefest, y a él le pareció buena idea pero también está emocionado por ir, especialmente por las bebidas (es polaco ya saben jajaja) y bueno también por la comida.

Now, while my husband was looking at the price of some flights, I said to him: why don't we go to Split for the Hivefest? I just blurted it out like that, without any hope but to my surprise he found some flights at a very good price and we didn't hesitate to buy them. Now my job was to raise the money to pay for the tickets, I started to power down for that, although I told my husband that I probably wouldn't make it (I didn't in fact) but that maybe there we could go out one day with the guys who also go to the Hivefest, and he thought it was a good idea but he is also excited to go, especially for the drinks (he is Polish you know hahaha) and well also for the food.

Luego estuve hablando con @gtg y el me convenció de asistir (gracias Gandalf), incluso me ofreció un préstamo (muy amable de su parte), pero antes de aceptarlo decidí escribirle a mi hermana @esthefanychacin preguntándole si tenía algunos hives ahorrados que me pudiera prestar y ella dijo que sí sin pensarlo, diciendo también que tenía que ir! Y por supuesto gracias a mi amiga @mamaemigrante quien también me dio mucho apoyo, pues como ven yo llevaba mucho tiempo sin publicar tan seguido y gracias a ella que me motivaba a publicar diario preguntando cómo iba el post de hoy o diciéndome que todavía tenía tiempo para reunir y que lo lograría que no dejara pasar esa oportunidad y realmente oportunidades como esta no siempre están tan cerca de casa, por lo que acepté el préstamo de mi hermana y una vez termine de pagarle voy a parar el power down.

Then I was talking to @gtg and he convinced me to attend (thanks Gandalf), he even offered me a loan (very kind of him), but before accepting I decided to write to my sister @esthefanychacin asking her if she had some hives saved that she could lend me and she said yes without thinking about it, also saying that I had to go! And of course thanks to my friend @mamaemigrante who also gave me a lot of support, because as you can see I had been a long time without posting so often and thanks to her who motivated me to post daily asking how today's post was going or telling me that I still had time to gather and that I would make it so I didn't let this opportunity pass and really opportunities like this are not always so close to home, so I accepted the loan from my sister and once I finish paying her I will stop the power down.

Estoy tan emocionada, especialmente porque este será el primer Hivefest al que asisto, así que no dejo de contar los días, y estoy muy feliz porque voy a volver a ver a muchos de los chicos que conocí en Cracovia y voy a conocer a otros, aunque también estoy un poco nerviosa porque es nuestro primer viaje en avión con Olivia y espero que salga bien, desde ya ella está empezando a preparar su maleta pero creo que exageró un poco con los juguetes jajaja, aunque veo que tiene claro que su leche, pañales y traje de baño es lo más importante jajajaja y bueno por su puesto las entradas al Hivefest y el alojamiento que ya pagamos también! espero que no se nos quede nada!

I am so excited, especially because this will be the first Hivefest I attend, so I can't stop counting the days, and I am very happy because I will see again many of the kids I met in Krakow and I will meet others, although I am also a little nervous because it is our first plane trip with Olivia and I hope it goes well, she is already starting to pack her suitcase but I think she exaggerated a bit with the toys hahaha, although I see that she is clear that her milk, diapers and swimsuit are the most important things hahaha and of course the tickets to the Hivefest and the accommodation that we already paid for too! I hope we don't miss anything!
