Dear readers,
My trip to Filandia in Colombia was a blast (check out the video here). I was also lucky with the weather on this second visit. My first visit last December was not so much fun as it was raining constantly and also very cold at almost 2,000 meters altitude. I’m always the girl turning off the AC, and I really don’t tolerate the cold well so I was quite miserable.
This time, however, in July, I experienced what the residents of Filandia call summer. Their summer only lasts one month (in July), which is is extremely short and unexpected from a Latin American country where everyone expects it to be warm 24/7.
This means I got to walk around a lot more, and snap some pics =) Here are some of my favorites:
Mother and daughter
Curious calves checking me out shooting photos of the sheep
My parent's adoptive kids:
Landcsape
The path that leads nowhere:
Most buildings in Filandia look like this one:
Oh hello curious lady!
The man!

I wouldn't mind living there. What about you?

Most beautiful palm tree I've ever seen!
