The hallway you enter is long. The small flashes of light, shooting in and out of the dark and the thousands of golden sparkling balls blinking at you, making you feel dizzy. The staircase at the end of the hallway is dark and you grope into the darkness blindly, then take the first step. You are not sure exactly how many steps there are to the staircase but you know there are many. You can hear the soft echo of your footsteps, as you draw further away from the entrance and deeper into the museum. When you finally reach the landing you rise up on your toes and see a long corridor stretching ahead of you.
"Keep walking and you will find something", a dark voice whispers in your ear. You jump back then turn around only to find that there is no one there.
"What was that?" you ask the mute museum.
You start walking down the hall, briskly, to try to get out of the eerie atmosphere. But even the museum is not what you expected. You had thought that after the library there could only be more rooms and more rooms until you reach a dead end. But you find yourself walking into a new room and you hear a click.
"Exhibit-" you hear a voice say. You stop and look down at the floor. A long corridor leading away from you is outlined in a thin golden band. Your shadow, cast across the floor, is standing in the shadow corridor. You turn to look at the others, but there are no others. The museum is empty, as you had expected. You look up and wonder what is happening, then realize that you are a ghost. You walk slowly into the golden light, as if you are going to leave this dream forever.
"Exhibit-" is repeated.
"No!" You panic and turn around, afraid. The room is entirely gone and you are standing in the empty museum. You feel as if you are the last remaining person alive. There is no other voice, only the whisper you heard before. You pick up the pace a little. The footsteps are coming closer. You want to run.
The footsteps have disappeared. You spin around, but you can't see anything. You look down, expecting to find the footprints. But they are not there. The footsteps have just gone. You glance up, as if someone is over your head.
There are no footsteps. The hallway, which once seemed to stretch on forever is gone. You tumble down, down, down into the endless blackness.
You drift into the center of a blue orb. You are sitting cross-legged on a light blue blanket, looking up at a dome colored light. You feel a soft breeze against your cheek and lift your head.
"Who is that?" You ask. You lift one arm and sit on your elbow but the blanket lifts itself up, as if it is trying to hide something. You pull it down and look around. The orb is floating above you, above the blanket.
"Who is that?" you ask again. Now you lift the other arm and stretch it out in front of you. You see a man sitting against the warm pale blue dome. He is almost transparent and you can see that he is wearing long brown robes and a gray and white beard.
