some time ago i made a game to a game jam called Ludum Dare. Game jam is exactly what is sounds like. Well, almost. It's a game development competition, usually there are not any rewards in this competition. People just make games for fun and compete with each other, trying to make the best game in limited time. Ludum Dare is a game jam, where you have exactly 48 hours to make a game, all by yourself. There are thousands of people participating in this game jam every 4 months. After this 48 time period of game development, there are several weeks of voting and i think everyone who participated has to vote at least 10 games (not sure about that). The winning games get a lot of attention and sometimes the developers continue on developing the game.
I participated in one of the Ludum Dare game jam some time ago and i want to share with you what i made in 48 hours. I made the game in Game Maker Studio and did the graphics, code and sounds all by myself (except the music - the music was not in the original submited version to Ludum Dare, because of the rules).
