Well maybe not as we all imagine games on Hive, but maybe how Hive can be used.
Just a day ago i published a post about a music video game i was trying to make. It is just a simple Side-Scrolling Runner, the song is talking about going through the world, so it made sense.
My background in coding is that i understand some simple things, can find some code to understand what it is doing, in the case of this game i understand which part of the code moves something, generates something, but i think i never in my life written anything my self from start to finish. I mean, my go to code editor is Notepad :D
Well i didn't do it this time either :D
With that knowledge i thought that the first version i shared is what it will be. But after some insights from 
Added 3 different collectibles, toned down the things happening on the screen, too much flashing, turning... added more stats about results, and added a leaderboard.
Leaderboard is where Hive is entering the picture. Hive is good at storing text forever, leaderboard is text.
Considering the game is just a fun way to promote a song there was no sense to make people download keychain, make accounts... but it made sense to use Hive to store results.
AI is going to kill us, or make us making games and stuff all day long, because just months ago i would not even think about making something that will connect to Hive and read Hive data. Today, in few hours, I (well AI) made it work.
Is the game perfect? No. It is simple, a bit too small on mobiles, sometimes a browser refuses to go full screen so the game is even smaller, there is probably 100 things that anyone who was ever involved in making games will find terrible.
Did i thought i will be making this just a year ago? No, not really. So i am actually happy that any of this works :D
