Hello Hive Gamers! Today I bring you the twenty-sixth chapter of my campaign in Great Conqueror 2: Shogun. In this session, I split my focus between firmly defending the newly acquired Lida fortress in South Shinano and tightening the noose around the South Omi stronghold belonging to the hostile Asai clan.

First, I directed my newly recruited army—composed of an archer unit, a cavalry unit, and two Yari samurai units—straight toward the Asai clan's fortress. When they arrived, I found that enemy forces were already completely surrounded and heavily besieged by troops from the friendly Matsudaira clan! Out of pure tactical caution, I parked my units safely nearby without initiating an attack, simply waiting to see how the situation would naturally play out before making my move.

Meanwhile, over in South Shinano in the eastern part of the map, I finished surrounding that stubborn heavy Takeda cavalry unit. Striking in tandem with my defensive turrets and all available units, I finally brought down the elite Takeda horsemen once and for all! Right after securing that victory, several Nagao clan detachments crept close, forcing me to quickly engage and defeat an incoming archer unit alongside another unit armed with teppo guns. Once the dust settled and the immediate threats were dealt with, I ordered my battered katana samurai infantry back inside the Lida fortress to rest and recuperate, as they had suffered heavy casualties throughout the skirmishes.

¡Hola Gamers de Hive! Hoy les traigo el vigésimo sexto capítulo de mi campaña en Great Conqueror 2: Shogun. En esta oportunidad dividí mis esfuerzos entre asegurar la defensa del recién adquirido castillo de Lida en Shinano del Sur y asediar la fortaleza de Omi del Sur del clan Asai.

Primero, dirigí el ejército más nuevo que había reclutado —compuesto por una unidad de arqueros, una de caballería y dos unidades de samuráis Yari— directamente hacia la fortaleza del clan Asai. Cuando llegaron, ¡me percaté de que ya estaban rodeados y completamente sitiados por tropas del amistoso clan Matsudaira! Por pura precaución táctica, estacioné mis unidades muy cerca sin atacar, limitándome a observar el desenlace de la situación antes de involucrarme de lleno.

Por otro lado, en Shinano del Sur, al este del mapa, terminé de cercar a la persistente caballería pesada del clan Takeda. Atacando de forma coordinada junto con mis torretas defensivas y todas mis unidades disponibles, ¡la caballería de élite Takeda cayeron derrotadas de una vez por todas! Inmediatamente después, varias tropas del clan Nagao se acercaron imprudentemente, lo que me obligó a combatir y eliminar a una unidad de arqueros y a otra equipada con armas de fuego teppo. Una vez que despejé la zona de enemigos, refugié a mi desgastada infantería de samuráis con katana dentro de la fortaleza de Shinano del Sur para que se recuperaran, ya que habían sufrido bastantes bajas durante los enfrentamientos.
