I am in North America and I stay up all night trading cryptos. Kraken starts to get slow around 7am EST because of all the people on the east coast waking up and logging into their accounts.
Today however things came to a grinding halt at 5am EST. I got the we are halting withdrawls message which has never happened to me in all the time I have been using Kraken.
Of course when I try to refresh 7/10 times the site doesn’t even load.
I hope Kraken and other exchanges see this and build out their infrastructure to give their customers a better experience.
Otherwise this is the first time I have ever had a problem with Kraken.

Kraken won't even load for me now....was gonna take profits but I guess I just have to Let IT Ride!

Site completely down...can't even login.
It's OK though...I didn't really want that $2000 in profit that has now disappeared because I couldn't trade my ETC for Bitcoin.

Went to bed, woke up, Kraken still hasn't got their SHT together yet.
Bitcoin withdrawal's still disabled
