Wednesday morning dawned hot and foggy. I was up at 5AM and closed the house up, checked e-mail and was out in the gardens by 6:30AM. The humidity was bad already.
I collected all the equipment and set about getting sugar pods peas planted. I got the amendment spread, broad forked the rows, raked them smooth and planted both rows.
Once the sun was up around 7AM it was pretty nasty out there. I had to keep sitting down to cool down. But I managed to get the first row done, and half of the second row mulched. It was 9:30AM and I had to quit.
I got my photos, made the notes, cleaned up, and went inside. I had to sit down for a while before I could shower. Once showered, I ate some lunch and was so wiped out I went to bed and slept until 3:30PM.

When I got up I sat for a while and then sat down and later on when I got up to make supper, I got a load of dishes in the dishwasher. I was in bed by 8PM.
On Thursday it’s to be much cooler and I plan to get out to the garden by 6:30AM. My #4 helper will be here at 1:30PM and I’ll see if she wants to help in the garden. But before she does that, all the seedlings in and outside need to be fed.
