It was a long day at home for me, I needed to come out of the house for a few minutes at least .so when my partner got home I suggested we go on a walk around the neighborhood.
We decided to change location a few months back for our sanity, staying inside Lagos was not for me, there was no way I was going to get used to the early morning noise and hustle, traffic, and unnecessary cost.
Anyhow, we moved to a town outskirts of Lagos Close by but more quiet and serene but we have never explored or just taken a walk together in a while so this was a good opportunity.
It's a good thing the roads are under construction so there was a close path to walk.
We noticed a better pharmacy which was awesome instead of going all the way to the regular one we know in town.
We found a pancake/buffet restaurant, I love pancakes so much so if there is a restaurant with pancakes on their menu trust me to try it out.
hopefully soon
Then we find a pizza and ice cream hangout too, who would have thought this small town, outskirts of the main city Lagos would have pancake and ice cream 馃槀. I would give it a try and come up with an update.
There wasn't much to see though, seeing it's a small town still on construction but it was a great walk with my partner. Talking about our dreams and just sharing our thoughts.
We went out quite late though if not we would have walked longer but for my baby's sake and the dust particles were rising a lot because of the cars moving so we had to end the walk sooner than expected .
Brief but enjoyable, Thanks to the wonderful #wednesdaywalk challenge by @tattoodjay
