Happy Easter guys.
I loved the whole idea behind Easter, the resurrection of Christ, and all it represents but the major problem I have with this season is the fact that a lot of people assume it is my birthday soon or birthday month just because I am named ESTHER.
I blame our Nigerian mother’s and father’s who name their daughters Esther, only because they were born during Easter. Now this belief has robbed off on all Esther’s in the world.
I have received over 10 messages, if not more asking for my birthday so they don’t miss the date or asking for birthday cake or location for party.

I even got a call from a very old friend who called as early as 12am, i was awake thanks to my son and I decided to pick up the phone just incase it was an emergency, haven’t heard from her in over 6 years so i needed to know why she was calling because normally I don’t pick calls so late at night if we are not very close.
The next thing i hear is “Happy birthday song” i was trying to stop her but she was so engrossed in the singing😂..She finished and loaded me with prayers, i said Amen o but had to tell her it wasn’t my birthday.
Apparently she called the wrong Esther, it was someone Else’s birthday today and not me.
I really do not understand the confusion, the meaning of Esther isn’t anyway related to the celebrated EASTER . I admit there is a lot of similarities in pronunciations and spelling but that isn’t enough naw to conclude that all Esther’s were born during Easter.
I was born in JULY and i have 2 other Esther’s that were born in February and October respectively.
I know i would probably get 2 or three more messages and calls before the day runs out 🙄talking about birthday.
If these calls were accompanied by cash gift cakes or food, trust me I wouldn’t mind at all. I would jejely celebrate my birthday twice a year💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻.
Do you know any other Esther’s that weren’t born in April or during easter? Or you are team Happy birthday Esther???
