alt

ENGLISH

How fast time has flown! Maybe it's what my husband says: the older we get, the faster the days go by.

In any case, I just celebrated my second year in the hive@hive ecosystem, and the truth is, it's been two years of great learning, during which I've been able to share and do things I never imagined.

I must say that hive came into my life when the whole world was crashing down on me because, after 43 years of work, I was retiring. A new phase would come to define my life, and honestly, I didn't feel ready to be at home.

alt

What to do? How to fill the free time I'd have from now on? What to do to avoid getting bored?

Thanks to tonyes@tonyes, nony@nony, and theinfiltred@theinfiltred, I was able to discover a world I knew practically nothing about and expected even less from. But the truth is that it has given me much more than I expected, and I've been able to improve my knowledge, and on some occasions, it has brought me financial benefits.

Since it's an important activity and can't be overlooked, I decided to have a little birthday party, with a meal, and celebrate my second anniversary in the ecosystem.

alt

If I had to explain what these two years have meant to me, on hive@hive I would say the following:

Ø It has allowed me to discover a world full of knowledge I didn't know existed.

Ø I have been able to interact with people of all generations and learn from them.

Ø In several communities, I have found a doctor friend, a psychologist who gives me advice, or a teacher who guides me in the right direction.

alt

Ø I have had to learn photography, write poetry, train myself to write stories, and do other activities I never thought I would.

Ø I have been able to make friends with people who live outside of Cuba, and in the case of those from my country, I have met them in person.

Ø I've participated in events where young people are the key protagonists, but I liked that because they drive us with their spirit and drive.

Ø As many of us like to say, at hive@hive we've been able to travel without buying tickets or spending money because many friends share their countries and regions with us, or on the trips they take, they show us the beauty of many parts of the world.

Ø The knowledge I've acquired, the recipes I've learned, the crafts I've tried to make, and I even got excited about a hiver who published her experience, is endless. I'm starting a business.

alt

If the above weren't enough, I must say that I've been able to improve my finances. Admittedly, not as much as I would have liked, but I never thought I'd make money by publishing these things. And, these days, I'm going to publish in a community what I managed to buy with ten months of savings, thanks to our ecosystem.

There are people who complain for various reasons and have decided to leave the project. In my case, the stay goes beyond the monetary aspect.

I wish I were in the best possible health; I think I would write a lot more.

This concludes my post.
