Estoy preparando unos Happy Mails y, mientras organizaba los stickers y todas esas cositas que voy a incluir, necesitaba hacer algunos sobres para guardarlos.
Entonces se me ocurrió compartirles este modelo que yo hacía hace tiempo y que me gusta mucho porque tiene diferentes bolsillos y es súper práctico.
Lo bonito es que no sirve solamente para Happy Mail.
También puede funcionar para hacer un regalo en cualquier época del año, para guardar pequeños detalles, para acompañar un cuaderno o journal, o simplemente para organizar papeles, stickers, die cuts y todas esas cositas que vamos acumulando quienes amamos la papelería.
En mi caso, estos sobres los voy a utilizar justamente para preparar unos Happy Mails.
Y la mejor parte es que son realmente muy fáciles de hacer.
No necesitas muchos materiales ni herramientas especiales. Con unos pocos dobleces, enseguida empieza a tomar forma.
Materiales
Para hacer un sobre mediano vas a necesitar:
🟡Una hoja A4
🟡Tijera
Y con eso ya puedes hacer la estructura básica del sobre.
Si quieres decorarlo, puedes agregar:
🟡Pegamento líquido o en barra
🟡Stickers
🟡Die cuts
🟡Papeles decorativos
🟡Cintas
🟡O cualquier otro elemento que tengas a mano
Pero realmente no es obligatorio usar pegamento.
Si utilizas un papel decorado por ambos lados, prácticamente puedes hacer todo el sobre solamente con el papel y la tijera.
También puedes variar el tamaño.
Con una hoja A4 sale un sobre mediano, pero si quieres hacer uno más grande, simplemente tienes que utilizar una hoja de mayor tamaño manteniendo la misma forma de plegado.
Yo personalmente sugiero hacerlo con cartulina o con un papel que tenga un poquito más de cuerpo, porque el sobre se arma más fácil y queda con mayor resistencia.
De todas formas, hay papeles decorados preciosos que también funcionan muy bien y pueden hacer que el sobre quede lindo sin necesidad de agregar demasiada decoración después.
¿Cómo se hace?

Realmente son solo algunos dobleces y en muy poco tiempo ya tienes el sobre armado.
Lo que más me gusta de este modelo es que se van formando diferentes espacios o bolsillos, así que puedes utilizarlo para guardar varias cosas pequeñas dentro del mismo sobre.
Al final del video también les muestro uno ya decorado, para que puedan tener una idea de cómo puede quedar terminado.
Por supuesto, después cada uno puede llevarlo a su propio estilo.
Puedes hacerlo romántico, colorido, vintage, minimalista, infantil, con temática de alguna fecha especial o simplemente dejar que el papel sea el protagonista.

I’m putting together some Happy Mails, and while I was organizing the stickers and all those little things I’m going to include, I needed to make some envelopes to store them in.
So I thought I’d share this design with you—one I made a while back that I really like because it has different pockets and is super practical.
The great thing is that it’s not just for Happy Mail.
It can also be used to wrap a gift any time of year, to store small trinkets, to go with a notebook or journal, or simply to organize papers, stickers, die-cuts, and all those little things that we stationery lovers tend to accumulate.
In my case, I’m going to use these envelopes specifically to put together some Happy Mails.
And the best part is that they’re really easy to make.
You don’t need many materials or special tools. With just a few folds, it quickly starts to take shape.
Materials
To make a medium-sized envelope, you’ll need:
🟡One sheet of A4 paper
🟡Scissors
And with that, you can make the basic structure of the envelope.
If you want to decorate it, you can add:
🟡Liquid or glue stick
🟡Stickers
🟡Die-cuts
🟡Decorative paper
🟡Ribbons
🟡Or any other items you have on hand
But you don’t really need to use glue.
If you use paper that’s decorated on both sides, you can practically make the entire envelope using just the paper and scissors.
You can also vary the size.
An A4 sheet makes a medium-sized envelope, but if you want to make a larger one, simply use a larger sheet of paper while keeping the same folding pattern.
Personally, I suggest using cardstock or paper with a bit more body, because the envelope is easier to assemble and ends up being sturdier.
That said, there are beautiful patterned papers that work very well too and can make the envelope look nice without needing to add too many decorations afterward.
How do you do it?
In the video, I show you the entire process step by step.
It really just involves a few folds, and in no time at all, you’ll have the envelope assembled.
What I like most about this design is that it creates different compartments or pockets, so you can use it to store various small items inside the same envelope.
At the end of the video, I also show you one that’s already decorated, so you can get an idea of what the finished product might look like.
Of course, everyone can then customize it to their own style.
You can make it romantic, colorful, vintage, minimalist, child-friendly, themed for a special occasion, or simply let the paper take center stage.
