My run yesterday was a special one because of a gift I gave to myself. Dear friends, meet my new running shoes.
These bright beauties are called Salming Miles Lite.
They look great, don't they. The shoes are meant for flat, fairly quick running and are a future replacement for the pair of Salming Distance D5 shoes which I am using now for flat runs.
I felt in love with Miles Lite instantly. They are light, responsive, soft above and hard enough art the sole. More about my first run in them in a forthcoming report.
The run itself was a morning affair with first
seven or so kilometers on asphalt. Then I just had to turn uphill and into the woods to try some trail running in the new shoes. No problems at all.
