I was searching for a low end weather station with multiple sensors included. The only viable option available immediately was this gadget.
It has three transmitters out of the box which is one more that I was shopping for. A bonus.
Let's unbox this box.
-40 degrees low limit is nice too, by the way.
Everything is nicely wrapped.
The main box, still with a sticker on the display, with one transmitter.
Before the batteries went in, two AAAs.
Sensors are using a pair of AAA batteries too. All together you will need eight of them.
Everything connected and working. You press a sync button at the back and the connections are made quite quickly.
You can see that the main unit and the sensors are in a slight disagreement.
Today, in the evening, with the three sensors outdoors and together the measurements were ...
Just 0.1 degree off and with humidity readings from 50 to 58%, I would call it decent.
In this price range, 50 €, you don't expect lab precision anyways.
OK, so far so good. The real test will be on the road. The station will be used in our RV with sensors attached at various locations. Both hot - gas oven, and cold - outside at the bottom of the chassis.
Stay tuned for real-life usage and measurements.
Oh, the watch didn't radio-sync. It was set manually.
By the way, the gadget sports usual functions - weather prediction based on air pressure, min and max values, nothing really needed. Maybe min values during the night are useful in the winter time.
Better and better
