One of the highest and active volcanoes on Java island of Indonesia started erupting on 15th October. This is the fifth time this year it has happened. Its a 3676meters high stratovolcano, primary ejecting basaltic andestite lava type.
2686 people live within 5 kilometers of the volcano and a total of about 72200 people with 18500 households are affected
