This is becoming hilarious.
Five days? Five days? Didn't you test the code before you put it into production?
Nobody, I repeat, NOBODY serious would publish such a buggy code without consequences. ANd you? Apology is not enough!
I am a programmer and a project lead and a tech lead. When my company would be in such a position there would be a high monetary penalty for delivery of a code which practically disables a large group of the users.
Not to mention a terminal loss of trust and no more contracts in the future.
