Kanaq's eyes snapped open, his heart racing with fear. He was lying on the forest floor, his head throbbing with pain.

As he sat up, he realized that it had all been a dream. He hadn't killed Victor, and he hadn't found his niece.

But as he looked around, he saw that something was off. The forest seemed darker, more menacing. And then, he heard it. A faint whispering in his ear, the words indistinguishable but the malevolent intent clear.

Kanaq's skin crawled as he scrambled to his feet. He knew that he had to get out of there, and fast.

But as he turned to run, he saw a figure standing in front of him. It was Akira, his niece. But something was wrong. Her eyes were black as coal, and her skin was deathly pale.

"Akira?" Kanaq whispered, his heart racing with fear.

But Akira didn't respond. She just kept walking towards him, her eyes fixed on his.

Kanaq tried to run, but his feet felt heavy, as if they were rooted to the spot. And then, Akira reached out and touched his face.

Kanaq felt a surge of energy run through his body, and everything went black.

When Kanaq came to, he was lying on the forest floor, his head throbbing with pain. Akira was nowhere to be seen.

But as he sat up, he saw something that made his blood run cold. A strange symbol was etched into the tree trunk in front of him, pulsing with a malevolent energy.

Kanaq knew that he had to get out of there, and fast. The force that had taken Akira was coming for him too.
