Hoy me sumo a la dinámica de Encuentro de Talentos con sentimientos encontrados, consulta aquí sus bases. Estos días han sido de profunda introspección, impulsada por el tránsito de Escorpio, esa energía astrológica que nos empuja a ir a la raíz de las cosas y detestar lo superficial. Esto me ha llevado a reevaluar mis metas y mi propósito con la escritura, que no solo es mi trabajo, sino mi talento intrínseco. Tras recibir mi lección presencial de inglés, decidí regalarme un momento de silencio en el parque para procesar tanta intensidad mental. En un mundo tan acelerado que nos empuja hacia las tendencias y el estatus ostentoso, esa misma mirada escorpiana me hizo detenerme a cuestionar algo que pocos miramos de frente: ¿por qué y para qué nos vestimos?
La intención detrás de cada prenda que usamos
Para mí, la respuesta trasciende si una prenda lleva el nombre de un diseñador internacional famoso o si proviene del talento local de una modista de mi propia ciudad. He comprendido que el verdadero valor de lo que llevamos puesto no lo dicta una etiqueta de lujo ni el precio de una vitrina, porque la verdadera belleza habita en la intención con la que decides usarla.
Vestirse con intención es un acto de amor propio, de cultivar tus raíces, de defender tus gustos e intereses. Se trata de la emoción con la que abres tu armario en la mañana, es la seguridad con la que caminas al pisar la calle y la autenticidad qu que transmites cuando una pieza refleja exactamente cómo se siente tu alma ese día. Si usas algo es porque te abraza, te empodera y te hace reconectarte contigo, da igual el origen de la tela, ya es una prenda de alta costura para tu confort.
Mis favoritos y mis nuevas lecciones
Si soy completamente sincera, mis favoritos siempre han sido los vestidos y unos buenos tacones. Hay algo maravilloso y profundamente femenino en juntar esas dos prendas de ropa; siento que cuando me las pongo, abrazo mi femineidad y mi versión más elegante; por ello, son mis aliados cuando quiero ir a una fiesta, un parque o una reunión de negocios.
Pero la vida se trata de constante aprendizaje, y curiosamente en estos días, estoy ampliando mi vocabulario en más de un sentido o área. Justo estoy aprendiendo la lección de la ropa en inglés -descubriendo cómo nombrar cada textura y cada abrigo- diferenciando todo ese vocabulario que divide las prendas para el frío de las del calor. Entre esas listas de warm coats, sweaters, sundresses y sandals, no puedo evitar emocionarme por la variedad de prendas que existen. Es hermoso ver que hace un mes no sabía nada del tema, y ahora me siento cómoda nombrándolas y diferenciándolas; porque no importa el clima o estación, lo importante siempre será habitarnos con libertad y comodidad.
No compitamos por lucir etiquetas, compitamos por transmitir luz y sentirnos felices con quienes somos sin importar el que dirán. La moda es pasajera, pero la gracia, la calidez y la intención con la que elegimos lo que amamos o nos hace felices, es lo que vale, eso jamás pasa de moda.

Today, I’m joining the "Talent Gathering" initiative with mixed emotions—you can check the guidelines here. These past few days have been a time of deep introspection, driven by the Scorpio transit—an astrological energy that pushes us to get to the root of things and reject the superficial. This has led me to re-evaluate my goals and my purpose regarding writing, which is not just my job but my innate talent. After my in-person English lesson, I decided to treat myself to a quiet moment in the park to process all that mental intensity. In a fast-paced world that pushes us toward trends and ostentatious status symbols, that same Scorpio-like perspective made me pause and question something few of us face head-on: why do we get dressed, and what is the purpose behind it?
The intention behind every garment we wear
For me, the answer goes beyond whether a garment bears the name of a famous international designer or comes from the local talent of a seamstress in my own city. I’ve realized that the true value of what we wear isn't dictated by a luxury label or a shop-window price tag; true beauty lies in the intention behind choosing to wear it.
Dressing with intention is an act of self-love—a way to nurture your roots and stand up for your own tastes and interests. It’s about the emotion you feel when opening your closet in the morning, the confidence with which you step out onto the street, and the authenticity conveyed when a piece perfectly reflects your soul's state that day. If you wear something because it embraces you, empowers you, and helps you reconnect with yourself, then—regardless of the fabric's origin—it becomes a high-fashion piece for your own comfort.
My Favorites and My New Lessons
To be completely honest, my go-to choices have always been dresses and a great pair of heels. There is something wonderful and deeply feminine about combining the two; I feel that when I wear them, I embrace my femininity and my most elegant self. That’s why they are my allies whether I’m heading to a party, the park, or a business meeting.
But life is all about constant learning, and interestingly, I’m currently expanding my vocabulary in more ways than one. I’m learning the English terminology for clothing—discovering the names for different textures and coats, and distinguishing between the words used for cold-weather gear versus warm-weather attire. Amidst lists of warm coats, sweaters, sundresses, and sandals, I can’t help but get excited about the sheer variety of garments out there. It’s beautiful to realize that just a month ago I knew nothing about this, yet now I feel comfortable naming and distinguishing these items. After all, regardless of the weather or the season, what truly matters is inhabiting our own skin with freedom and comfort.
Let’s not compete to show off labels; let’s compete to radiate light and find happiness in who we are, regardless of what others might say. Fashion is fleeting, but the grace, warmth, and intention behind choosing what we love—or what brings us joy—is what truly counts. That never goes out of style.
