If your new to the Crypto Sphere, like a lot of recent people that joined Steemit, recent days must seem very dramatic. Bitcoin down, Steem Down, the bubble has burst!
This post is not investment advice but I wanted to show a few interesting Charts to give a bit of Perspective to the current Jitters in the Markets.
Bitcoin
Since the start of 2016, this coin has increased from around $400 and its now sitting at around $2500. Sure its down over the last few days and the future depends a lot on some potential changes that may or may not happen but just looking at the chart and it's going strong.
Steem
I tried to do the same chart for Steem, but wait Steem didnt exist at the beginning of 2016. Its value was 0. Its now standing at around $1.70
Since the beginning of this year alone Steem has increased from around 16 Cents and is now standing at around $1.70. Again the future value will depend on lots of factors but its going well so far this year.
