Hello, great people! I am happy to be here today, and I guess you are too 😊. The year is just beginning and most of us have already set out targets and plans for the year; I too have, and strongly believe that we will all achieve our plans and aspirations for the year.

I am so much in love with the theme of this week's Open Mic. Of course, this is the best time of the year to wish people well. My performance today will be an original song, a song I composed on the spot. It is a freestyle, maybe not perfect musically, but the message is clear. I have chosen to title the song "My Wishes for You", and they are indeed my wishes for you. As you read through this post, know that my performance for this week's open mic is dedicated to you.

It is a simple song, but it is aside wishing us well intended to let us know how capable we are; I simply hope it does that. Whatever you do this year, do not give up on your goals; pursue them as if your future depends on them. As you do this, I wish you luck and the blessings of the Almighty.
