Today was the day of the national club championships in speedskating. Our club was selected and they selected me to skate the 500 meters. As a proof, here is a screenshot of the livestream the organising committee put on YouTube:
I'm on the down right screen on the left side ready to get started. I managed to skate the 500 meters in 40.76 seconds. Quite a bit above my personal record, but not bad for a first race of the season.
