Today it's the 10th of September and as far as I am concerned, summer is over. Don't get me wrong, today the temperature was around 33C mid day, which is still temperature for a hot summer day, the difference is that we only have this temperature for two or three hours per day. In the evening, the temperature cools down and we wake up to 10 degrees most days. Yes, it can feel chilly in the morning, but it gives buildings the chance to cool down and you can sleep at night without air conditioning, with the window open and fresh air.

Today I came across an interview in one of the local platforms that I follow to keep up with events. The subject of the interview was a stylist, who has studied and worked in London for awhile, then has relocated back home, for various reasons. Lack of success has not been the reason, if you're wondering. It's been more like realizing the lifestyle she has been living there was not what she wanted.

During the interview, she said something really interesting, that stuck in my mind. She said she's advising people as she's a stylist, but that doesn't mean she's telling you what to wear. You are the one who selects the style, she just helps you decide what colors work on you best, how to wear certain style and so on. This means you need to find what works for you and she's assisting you in this regard.

This may seem like a fashion issue, regarding only style, but in fact it isn't just that.

Last month I was contacted by a trader I know and we had a nice chat, to catch up on things as the last time we spoke was almost a year and a half ago. Back in the day he opted for private mentoring and I was always wondering what can you get as a private student. He told me the knowledge and the trading system he got was very subjective and he had to build his own system around it, to make it work. This didn't surprise me as I know his mentor, have learnt a lot from him myself, but could not use his system, I as well had to adjust it to my needs.

Life is not easy, the road forward is bumpy, there are a lot of obstacles every day, you hit the wall more times than you imagine at the beginning. Where there's a problem, there's an opportunity as well, which is great, but the question is, on which side you are on.

A lot of people are selling magical solutions to your problems and many blindly believe they just pay for some courses and their problems magically get solved. I must admit, as long as naive people exist to believe it and pay whatever it is asked, the "sh*t" selling industry is going to thrive.

It is always easier to buy hope, then figure out what works for you, as figuring out requires time, patience energy and ultimately accepting defeat countless times till you find a solution. The road to figuring out things is long and tiring, but totally worth it. You just have to have the strength and perseverance to go through the whole process.

I see so many people living the life others are shaping for them, pretending to be happy and struggling behind closed doors. Being different most likely takes courage many don't have.

Looking back in my life, I see the transformation, the changes I've gone through and the process is not over. This change is much needed and honestly, I couldn't be more happier that I'm doing this. It comes at a cost as it is often questioned, I need to tell people why I do certain things and face judgement, but I'm not living for their validation, so I walk my path and you walk yours.

The small detail that matters the most is figuring out what's the best for you and adjust your life accordingly. It's a process, takes time, but totally worth it. Too bad some people may never get there.
