Yes to all that! I use the Thorne brand as well. The brand gets really good ratings. Thank you for the links! I've watched a lot of Rhonda's content. She's really been making the rounds on podcasts lately.
Do you take a multivitamin? I didn't for years after I read they weren't of much use but recently I started taking one for men over 50 from a company called Ritual and have noticed a difference.
I've noticed if I take a break from the creatine for a few days the cognitive benefits don't come back until about three days after I start my 5g dose again. I think the muscles go through a "loading phase" but after that some of it gets past the blood/brain barrier. I may try two 5g doses to see if it works any better. My memory and recall has never been better. That's my favorite part. Do you find you need less sleep? I'm waking up every day between 6:00-6:30am and feel perfectly rested.
I do kettlebells now, exclusively, for weight training. I started with a 30lb one and worked my way up to 50lbs. I probably won't go any heavier than that. I do this workout every other day:
It looks deceptively easy but it's gotten me into the best shape of my life.
I'll have to look more into the exercise snacks. I recently ran across an article about the workout routines of billionaires like Zuckerberg and Bezos. The trend is to focus on low intensity workouts that strengthen your body but don't wear your joints out. I think that's the way to go once you're over 50.
