RE: Time for a Change
I'm so glad to hear SA isn't as bad as the news portrays it to be! It sounds like your neighborhood is doing all the right things. I'm sure the right place will appear when the time is right. It always

RE: A Few Rotten Apples
I remain optimistic! The signal-to-noise ration is so high now in the self-published book market that an author almost has to go viral to sell as many copies as they could a decade ago. If nothing else

RE: Follow Friday: KYC to FML
For sure, it reminds me of the Matrix scene where thousands of Mr. Smiths are attacking Neo. Hive is ever-evolving, the content creator demographics shift as token prices fluctuate. I'm noticing way less

Oh, you've decided to sell! I worry about you all there. The news here in America is painting a very concerning picture about how unsafe it's getting in South Africa for people of European descent. I don't

There's seems to be a steep cultural learning-curve there. How long did it take for you to get fully acclimated? We have a friend whose taught in Tokyo for almost thirty years and he says there are still

RE: Are You Ready For Extraterrestrial Visits?
As someone whose had a few direct experiences I know they're real and they've been here with humanity for a long time. I think they may be directly influencing our evolution as well. I believe you're right,

Cathedral Hill's homes are, mostly, intact now. There were lots of abandoned mansions there between the 1960's and mid-1970's though. If things continue to go as they are now though we'll probably see

That's awesome. It's so good to push ourselves out of our comfort zones. Hmm, I'm not sure why the pre-order isn't showing on your end. I bet you're right, I bet Amazon restricts certain markets. It's

I know! I see people masking up here all the time when they're alone and outdoors. I don't get it either. I think it just provides them with a false sense of security. I think some people have contracted

The Coinbase hack was deeply concerning and a good argument against KYC. It's usually worse than the "hackee" claims it is and I think that's probably the case here. I was listening to the JRE

Absolutely. Most of it I declined. Five recommended vaccinations (Covid, Flu, Pneumonia, Shingles, RSV), a cologuard test, and a CT scan so we have a "baseline" calcium score for arterial plaque

How amazing that you said "yes" to this experience! That took courage. I think the different generations have a whole lot to teach each other as they interact.

It's sad to see so many of these older places in the UK in various states of ruin. Renovating one of these would have to be a true labor of love because, financially, it rarely makes sense. An entire section

Good! When I'm feeling stressed or defeated I always ask myself "Will this matter in twenty years?" As it turns out "no" is often the answer I come up with. That helps to put things

That's so true! This is such a powerful mentality that allows us to escape a lot of shackles in our life. So many people walk around with a victimhood mentality these days and all that does is keep us
