As someone whose had a few direct experiences I know they're real and they've been here with humanity for a long time. I think they may be directly influencing our evolution as well. I believe you're right, the government has decided to slowly release the portions of the truth—the recent congressional hearings are a good sign of this. It's all so tightly controlled and measured though, they don't want to lose control.
