Then I must be very very sad, for my plants aren't doing so well, either. XD

I compare our wintergarden plants with the little front piece where my brother lives. It's outdoors and we now maintain it in the 3rd year. It's doing fine and everything thrives pretty well. The first year we threw some impressive numbers of seeds on the ground after we had cleared it up. Flowers came in spring and summer in huge numbers, as we had hoped for. The 2nd year other flowers joined in and now, in the third one, again other plants rock the show. Now and then we planted some new varieties.
I think outside plants have a much better chance to grow by their natural cycle and also by the influence of insects and the like.

But I am not saying that your mood an my mood don't impact the results. Sometimes I thought that the whole effort is not worth it and neglected my plants for that very reason one day too long.
Also, if worst comes to worst, one has the chance to buy new ones. Well, at least seedlings, right? ... Maybe, if one would own the last plant of its own kind one would treat it like ones live depended on it :D HaHa!
