On Youtube there is a man by the name of Logan Paul, a millionaire over and again who started as a viner, then became a massively popular vlogger. With over fifteen million (15,000,000) subscribers on his channel, his own line of merchandise, and a brother who is nearly as successful, you would expect him to be responsible with what he posts. That expectation does nothing but grow as you take into consideration that the vast majority of his fans are minors, something he well knows both from fan meet ups as well as Youtube analytics. However that expectation falls flat on its face when, as the video below shows, Logan Paul supposedly went out to a well known location for suicides, a place that averages about one every three days, in the hopes of making an anti-suicide vlog. What happened however is that he found a dead body, and instead of shutting down the vlog, calling authorities, and showing some respect for the dead, he filmed the body, very closely, and then only hours later uploaded the video to his channel, exposing millions of children to an actual dead body.

From Youtuber Quinton Reviews

Now as someone who has struggled with both chronic and major depression as well as suicidal thoughts for as long as I can remember (my earliest clear and coherent memories start around 7 or 8,) I am personally offended by Logan Pauls choice to record the body and show such flagrant disrespect, but I am also appalled by the fact he then showed this repugnant footage to his fans. Now he has since taken the video down and apologized. I do not know this man and can not make any claims to know what he was thinking or feeling at the time. The video linked above makes a good point basically stating that Logan may well have gone out with the best of intentions and then simply used his vlogger lifestyle to shield himself from the trauma of finding a body. So I can not truly hate him for this, but I am extremely disappointed.

Now, as I said before I myself have struggled with suicidal thoughts, I still do. But I have also lost friends and loved ones to suicide, and can say for sure, that no matter how bad it is, it can only get better if you are still alive. And somebody somewhere would miss you, be hurt by losing you. I myself am saddened by the suicides of those I've never even met. Each person is a unique piece of art, composed of experiences, memories, and feelings that are truly their own and nobody else's. The world would be a lesser place with out you, so if you or anyone you know is suffering from suicidal thoughts, please seek help.
