So I'm finally looking into personally investing in cryptocurrency. I'm not doing it alone, but rather investing with several real life friends. However I am still trying to do my due diligence. Even with my own natural distrust of everything under the sun taken into consideration, I still find cryptocurrency a scary thing. However the future is now, or a decade ago, and its time to modernize my portfolio.
Having been on steemit for more than a short time I have noticed the obvious, many people here know cryptocurrency far better than I. So I was wondering if anyone here can give me some basic pointers like which exchange is best, and in what ways this investment is both different and similar to more traditional investing.
Now as I said, I'm doing my due diligence and trying to learn as much as possible, but I thought that asking here might get me an all together different look into the world than simply researching via google.
