I need medicine, medicine, medicine.
I really am in a keshi mood for a couple of days already. I have @charlocked to blame for introducing him. His songs just really gets me in the mood to either go do my work or draw.
Today, I am particularly hooked to keshi's song, skeletons.
blue is still really one of my favorites, but skeletons has a darker tone to it. It just sounds more raw (and if you watch keshi's live performance of skeletons, it feels like he'll be crying any second in).
So there are two versions, just because I couldn't decide which one was better. I was thinking it's kind of like the song from where it was inspired. It can be dark, but it can be darker.
The drawing is based off this Pinterest post.
Here's the darker version:
I actually only used one brush this time -- all throughout! The pencil brush has become a personal favorite. I can't reiterate this enough.
I was meaning to draw him in color, but! The sadness (and mild hope) in skeletons just really made me push a monochromatic black scheme.
