La vida está llena de decisiones desde que te despiertas hasta que te acuestas. Tú eliges qué hacer y qué vivir y cuando eso no pasa no hay equilibrio y la queja e inconformidad se vuelve parte de la vida, nadie quiere que las cosas salgan mal. Aun más cuando se nos quita el derecho de elegir.
Tu vida cambia desde que elijes, desde que decides hacer que cambie, tras esa decisión tiene que venir una acción.

Life is full of decisions, from the moment you wake up until you go to bed. You choose what to do and how to live, and when that doesn’t happen, there’s no balance, and complaints and dissatisfaction become part of life—no one wants things to go wrong. This is even more true when our right to choose is taken away.
Your life changes the moment you choose, the moment you decide to make it change; that decision must be followed by action.

Con 49 años y tres títulos académicos decidí estudiar en la universidad nuevamente, pero ya a otro nivel, el nivel de enseñar, de ser docente, ya debería estar enseñando aquello que he aprendido, podría estar algo complicado, pero es una decisión, cada decisión te transforma.
Me agrada que en estas primeras clases nos han dado charlas, desde conocer nuestros derechos ante la sociedad como el sector salud, todo lo que tenemos a nuestro alcance que desconocía.

At 49 years old and with three academic degrees, I decided to go back to college—but this time at a different level: the level of teaching, of being a professor. I should already be teaching what I’ve learned; it might be a bit complicated, but it’s a decision—and every decision transforms you.
I’m glad that in these first few classes, they’ve given us lectures on everything from understanding our rights in society to the healthcare system—all the resources available to us that I wasn’t aware of.

Me convertí en la inspiración de mi circulo de amistades, se entusiasman a hacer un cambio en sus vidas, continuar formándose y hasta volver a revivir aquellos tiempos de universidad.
Todo es diferente a esta edad, cuando estaba joven quería graduarme por necesidad, todo rápido, con mucha presión, ahora me lo disfruto un montón,llevo las cosas con calma.
No hay que escuchar voces negativas, ni aquellas que son nuestras donde nos auto saboteamos, ni aquellas de personas que resultan ser la piedra que obstaculiza nuestro crecimiento: No podrás, eres muy mayor, estás enferma... nada puede interferir con tus decisiones, la realidad de la vida es muy distinta para cada persona. Quienes de verdad te aman te van a animar siempre a ser la mejor versión de ti mismo.
¿Has escuchado que nunca es tarde para comenzar algo personal? Siempre es el mejor momento y cuando lo decides hay que actuar coherente a tu decisión. El crecimiento personal se ha vuelto mi prioridad.

I’ve become an inspiration to my circle of friends; they’re excited to make a change in their lives, continue learning, and even relive those college days.
Everything is different at this age. When I was young, I wanted to graduate out of necessity—everything had to happen quickly, under a lot of pressure. Now I enjoy it a lot and take things easy.
Don’t listen to negative voices—not even the ones inside your own head that sabotage you, nor those of people who end up being the stumbling block to your growth: “You can’t do it,” “You’re too old,” “You’re sick”… Nothing should interfere with your decisions; the reality of life is very different for each person. Those who truly love you will always encourage you to be the best version of yourself.
Have you heard that it's never too late to start working on yourself? It's always the right time, and once you make that decision, you have to act in a way that's consistent with it. Personal growth has become my priority.
