When I was a little kid, there was this one storybook that had a tale about goblins. It would warn little kids that "the goblins will get you if you don't watch out." It had pictures of what were supposed to be goblins, but they looked more like hellish creatures than like mythological beings. It shamed kids that never said their prayers.

It was indeed a scary tale to little kids. However, here is where it goes wrong. Goblins are not demons. Goblins are mythological beings from fairy tales about elves, leprechauns, and the likes. Goblins are also not necessarily evil. Of course, they don't exist, but here's my point. Religious extremists like Robert Lyte have this obsession about Hell, and they misuse it as fear-mongering tactics to get people to subscribe to their religion.

There is a gentleman named Bill Wiese who claims that he spent 23 minutes in Hell during an out-of-body experience. That is, he involuntarily astral-projected from his physical body and descended into the devil's kingdom. Whether it really happened remains to be seen. I'm not accusing Mr. Wiese of being a liar, but he could have very well experienced a hallucination of some kind. Watch the video below to get your impressions of what really happened.

All right. Now let me get this. Beneath the hot mantle of the Earth is the core. Scientists have never photographed it, but they have come up with the proof of it. Bible thumpers believe that the core of our planet is where the lake of fire is housed for all condemned souls. Hmmm. Very far-fetched I would have to say.

Would it mean that if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe and someone on a distant planet dies and doesn't make it into heaven, so to speak, then that alien's soul would quickly drift light years and light years across the universe toward our planet to descend into the core of it to suffer eternal damnation? Or does that alien's planet have its own hell inside of it?

If so, Satan would have to be a fairly busy bee to keep up with all of these events and to operate all these versions of Hell. Of course, I don't believe in the existence of Satan or demons. At the end of the day, it's all fairy-tale nonsense.

My response to Mr. Wiese is that when he spent those 23 minutes in a place he believed to be Hell, it could have been that he was hallucinating. Otherwise, perhaps he was having a minor stroke or possibly a heart attack without realizing it, and his brain was playing tricks on him.

Now, I do believe that astral projection is a real thing. However, if Mr. Wiese really astral-projected from his physical body, he may have ended up in a very undesirable place within the astral realm; but I seriously doubt that he was actually in Hell. That is, because Hell doesn't exist.

Mr. Saldivar may not be as much of a dingbat as Robert Lyte is, but he's not far from it. You may be asking why it is that some people have hellish experiences during a near-death experience ("N.D.E.") if Hell doesn't exist. It's interesting that Mr. Barone was once a Christian fundamentalist himself. That is, he was someone that would have once agreed with everything that Mr. Saldivar and Mr. Lyte have had to say about Hell and hellfire. Now, he has kicked all the mythological nonsense about Hell to the curb.

Mr. Barone needs to challenge Mr. Saldivar and Mr. Lyte to a debate over whether Hell really exists. Mr. Saldivar and Mr. Lyte would likely chicken out from participating in such a debate.

It comes down to the fact that someone who encounters an N.D.E. will mirror whatever beliefs they have engraved in their minds. Mr. Barone could teach Mr. Wiese a thing or two. According to Mr. Barone, Hell is religion's biggest lie, and I stand behind his position on this topic.

In reality, there are no demons, devils, or goblins. And there is no Hell. It's a sick, twisted fantasy that theists have concocted into the minds of many as a weapon of control. It is better not to think about such bizarre things, because it will only give you nightmares and interfere with your regular life. The entire concept of Hell was invented back during a time in which everyone believed that the Earth was flat. How this myth continues to survive is beyond my comprehension. As Mr. Barone implies, Mr. Wiese likely had a subjective near-death experience

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not here to bash all religious people. In fact, there are devout Christians that agree with me about my disbelief in Hell, even though I'm an agnostic. A YouTuber named Liam is a devout Christian, and even he contends that no merciful, loving God would ever send people to Hell for all eternity on a casual note. A video of his is below.

Liam has an Irish accent. Therefore, I wonder if he is Irish Catholic. If Mr. Saldivar and Mr. Wiese are really confident that the doctrine that dictates that people go to Hell as God chooses is accurate, then why have they not directly challenged the videos of individuals like YouTuber Liam and attempted to debunk them? As far as I am concerned, Mr. Saldivar and Mr. Wiese continue to split hairs instead of providing actual incontrovertible evidence that proves that a horrendous place like Hell does exist.

Mr. Saldivar, Mr. Wiese, and Mr. Lyte are all entitled to their own opinions, but they are not entitled to their own facts. It's time that each and every one of us dispels the myth of Hell's existence. The Bible was written by other humans rather than by a god itself.

We all need to stop living in fear of some make-believe place called Hell whose very existence has never been proven by scientists or by anyone of considerable intellect. The authors of the Bible invented it to scare people into obedience toward religious leaders.

No, I don't believe that Hell is a place where intense fun and partying is going on, because I don't believe that it exists at all. Once you're dead, your nervous system dies with you. Therefore, you cannot spend eternity in never-ending torment and being burned.

I don't deny that astral bodies can feel pain in a similar manner as physical bodies can do so. However, when our consciousness leaves our physical bodies permanently, what proof does anyone have that our consciousness would have the ability to feel pain in the absence of our nervous system? When someone astral-projects, their nervous system is still operating; and their silver cord puts them in touch with their nervous system while they're having an out-of-body experience.

It's time that we all stop having faith in old wives' tales and start relying on science for answers. Way too many people have needlessly died in the name of religion. Let's not allow religion to control what happens to us in the afterlife. Everyone has the right to rest in peace after they die.

And, yes, I completely get it. Many of us would like to think that monsters like Ted Bundy, Charles Manson, Jim Jones, and Joseph Stalin are being punished in the form of endless torture as you read this article here of mine. However, it is better that we don't give in to any superstitious nonsense at all for the sake of humanity as a whole.

The falsehood of Hell is a product of religious fanaticism and nothing else. Let's throw this falsehood into the fire. Pardon the expression.

If you still have reservations about disbelieving Mr. Wiese's claim that he spent 23 minutes in Hell, then you need to think about this one point. At some point in Mr. Wiese's conversation with Mr. Saldivar, he insisted that nobody can escape from Hell once they are there. However, if that is so, then how did Mr. Wiese escape from Hell?

Moreover, how did Jesus Christ escape from Hell? According to the Bible, he spent a modest amount of time in Hell. The Russian Orthodox Church contends that everyone in Hell, including Satan, will someday be saved and make it into heaven. Once you factor in all the inconsistencies between different people's accounts of Hell and even testimonials about it, you then realize that it has to be a hoax at best.
