Christmas with mocha cookies and coffee

Greetings dear coffee friends, in these last weeks I have been a little away from these incredible spaces due to lack of time, since I was studying for the final exams of the high school, but fortunately I have now freed myself from a large part of them, being successful and passing all subjects.

Today, to celebrate my academic victory a bit, I accompanied my mother to the supermarket as usual. This time I did not venture to buy a new coffee because I still have a delicious fine-grain coffee at home that I bought recently which I enjoy every afternoon, especially in these times when in my country it is the rainy season, which would be for you something similar to spring, but with colder because here as we are in the tropics we do not have the division of the common stations in the countries of the north and the south of the planet; So, in these months and until February approximately every day it rains, and the cold is inclement with a lot of fog, which makes the afternoons an ideal time to rest after a hard day of studies, admiring the wonderful nature that surrounds me and of course enjoying a delicious snack and a cup of coffee.

To this end, I went shopping looking for that special sweet touch that would complement my afternoons and my traditional coffee with milk, so I went through all the aisles looking for a dessert that was unusual and worth it, after a great tour of endless proposals based mainly on chocolate and vanilla, I came across these new biscuits called charmy coffee moka, at that moment I said to myself wow it seems impossible, but they exist, I really knew what there is on the market, an endless number of coffee-based products, since It is such a versatile grain that it can be used to flavor almost anything, as well as having an almost guaranteed loyal audience that likes to enjoy good products, but honestly, I had never heard of the existence of coffee-flavored cookies, so without a doubt, I buy a package willing to enjoy them in the tranquility of my home.

As always, I set out to prepare a coffee in the clouds as I call it, because it really seems out of heaven with its characteristic foam that hot milk gives it, although also on some occasions when the cold is very intense I add marshmallows to make it more sweet and tasty. But this time was different as it would be to accompany some cookies, I preferred not to sweeten the coffee too much so as not to overshadow the flavor of the cookie.

I tell you that the cookie has a very good presentation, I loved the packaging design for its combination of colors, and it also gives it an elegant touch due to its contrasts between shiny and opaque.

When I uncovered it, I realized that internally the cookies have individual packages, which is quite useful to preserve their freshness. Just by opening the first package immediately the fresh aroma of the smell of coffee took over everything around me, I must say that this cookie is very aromatic, it has a fascinating sweet fragrance where the coffee stands out with a little cinnamon. The smell alone already let me know that it was a very good product.

Finally, I ventured to try it, being even more surprised, its crunchy texture is spectacular and brightens everything with its characteristic sound, the flavor of coffee is perceived almost immediately on the palate, filling all the senses of your mouth that begins to dance to the rhythm of the typical flavors and aromas of a good coffee, the filling cream contrasts the sweetness of the cookie, it is a kind of cream similar to that of the famous Oreo cookie, but with a little drier, I imagine that its function will be something like if was the cream that would be added to a mocachino to make it creamier, this combination is simply great.

To conclude my review of this cookie I must say that it is very tasty, its combination of sweet and creamy flavors gives it that special something that many look for in a good coffee, but here you find it compacted into a solid dessert that you can take anywhere for I highly recommend it, but I can't say goodbye without telling you about one of my pranks, since I happened to dip the cookie in my cup of coffee, which completely changed the texture from crunchy to soft, also changing its flavor and reminding me of a very similar hue As for the coffee ice cream, I assure you that moistening it in this way is also an option that works very well.
