Dear Friend,
it has been too long. we both have been unable to travel and i am here and you there. today it is snowing here, the first snow is always a delight. i fear you may never get a chance to see the magic of it in this faraway land. but never mind that. come now anyway and walk with me in my world.

you won't feel the biting wind in your face and your fingers won't turn bluish white nor will you hear the silence that has fallen. but i shall bring you into my world as best i can with this camera. it cannot capture the entirety of it all but it does allow me to lead your eyes to where mine linger, so in a sense you'll see it through my eyes.

we shan't be needing these today

and i'll let the car be for now

we'll just walk down the road a bit. it's not far. those poor carpenters in this weather fixing the roof. i'm glad i'm not one of them.

those rooftops over there are in the park where we're going

after we pass through the gate i won't be saying much. it's a historical place but i'm no tour guide so let's just walk and take it all in in silence.

we can take a different route on the way back, through the garden with the fruit trees

my fingers are freezing. how about we circle back home and have a nice bowl of hot soup.
