"If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden."
-Frances Burnett
With the world crashing down around us, both economically and socially, we need to steel ourselves and take a long-term perspective on things.
The world is filled with incredible opportunity and value. The result and consequences of the pandemic at hand is a mere bump in the road. Humanity has faced far worse in its 200,000 years. Being locked down for months makes us want to hit the fast forward on life, but this is an excellent time to build our future when everything has stopped. Consider that this is a time to plant and we can reap the profits later.
Consider that the world has gone through in recent times. The Great Recession of 2008, World War II, the development of the internet and much more tragedy and triumph.
Take a long term approach. Do not stop dreaming, working and living.
Plant the seeds now that they may grow in fertile soil later. Build your relationships up and build up your contacts. Prepare for what happens next, and make sure to take the time out to invest for tomorrow.
