Good evening @ph1102, I don't really understand the reason for this series of posts (reflections) about Hive... although I can assure you that you have made me feel interested in what is to come.

I'm not a good detector of "good" or "bad" vibes in Hive since I'm just a newcomer... Although I'm sure there has to be debate even if I don't know it. There is a lot of money invested in Hive, as well as time and work.

For my part, I have never had goals in Hive, I have had several creativity crises and other almost existential ones in which I have considered stopping publishing. A few words from a friend are my current driving force... that's also what Hive has given me... friends.

I am also not obsessed with publishing, nor with demonstrating "commitment." Does stopping publishing mean stopping being a hivian? I think not necessarily.

I entered Hive commenting, I like what various creators publish and I could continue commenting on Hive. I told a great HIve veteran yesterday that Hive had already given me a lot, for example the conversation we were having or meeting hivians whom I admire in person.

In short, in Hive there must be many definitions of success.

I am also not sure if this comment is related to your publication (I apologize), although I look forward to your next reflections on what seems to be a crisis or an opportunity.
